<p>The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00p and will take place outside on a partially covered terrace. Please take weather into consideration! The ceremony will be followed by a cocktail hour while the bride and groom take family photos.</p><p>The reception will begin at 6:00p in the ballroom where a buffet dinner will be available as well as an open bar. There will be live music during a half-hour portion of the reception including live drums. If you have hearing or other sensory sensitivities, please consider bringing ear plugs or headphones to help you enjoy the music comfortably.</p>

There are many options in the immediate Uptown Charlotte area, as well as great neighborhoods that are just a few minutes away via Uber or Light Rail. Check out NoDa, South End, and University for some of these options.</p>

<p>The Mint Museum’s onsite parking deck has two different entrances at 130 W Brooklyn Village Ave and 528 S Church Street. Once in the garage, make sure to take the elevator labeled Plaza Elevator.</p><p>There is additional parking available across the street at <a href="https://maps.app.goo.gl/6zbsCXLiq9qu9n7c9">The Green parking deck</a>, entrances at 435 S Tryon Street and 401 S College Street.</p><p>If you're walking or getting dropped off at the Mint, use the address 148 Levine Avenue of the Arts, Charlotte, NC 28285.</p>

Some of our favorite thing to do include:</p><ul><li>Walking through the Mint Museum and Bechtler Gallery</li><li>Taking pictures on The Green</li><li>Having a snack and a drink at Rhino Market and Deli</li><li>Walking through Romare Bearden Park</li><li>Enjoying a rooftop drink at Merchant and Trade</li></ul><p>If you are willing to travel a bit outside of Uptown, here are some of our recommendations:</p><ul><li>Dinner at Let’s Meat Korean BBQ</li><li>Duck pin bowling and drinks at Pins Mechanical</li><li>Throwing axes at BTL AXE NoDa</li><li>Exploring the shops and dining at Optimist Hall</li><li>Picnicking, biking, and walking around Freedom Park</li><li>Definitely not stealing cute dogs at Lucky Dog Bark and Brew</li></ul><p>And if you’re feeling REALLY adventurous, here are some fun places in Charlotte’s surrounding areas you can explore:</p><ul><li>The US National Whitewater Center</li><li>Lake Norman and Lake Wylie Parks</li><li>The Carolina Raptor Center in Huntersville</li><li>The Latta Nature Preserve in Huntersville</li></ul> |
